I read widely from many genres. Perhaps this blog will feature fewer ratings and reviews, but I certainly intend to write about my reading life - it's the subject I most find myself wanting to talk about.
The thing I like best about the novel "Snow" by Orhan Pamuk is that the main character is a poet struggling and fumbling his way through life. This is less common than you would think. Lots of novels have novelists as main characters; poets appear far less often. -cg
