Carissa Green Reads

I read widely from many genres. Perhaps this blog will feature fewer ratings and reviews, but I certainly intend to write about my reading life - it's the subject I most find myself wanting to talk about.

Currently reading

Stephen E. Ambrose
Symphony for the City of the Dead: Dmitri Shostakovich and the Siege of Leningrad
M.T. Anderson
The Path Between the Seas
David McCullough
Chekhov Four Plays
Anton Chekhov, David Magarshack
The Gay Science: with a Prelude in Rhymes and an Appendix of Songs
Walter Kaufmann, Friedrich Nietzsche
A Kierkegaard Anthology
Robert W. Bretall

Romancing the Series (Opinions appreciated)

Valentine - Jane Feather The Lady Chosen - Stephanie Laurens

I like to read mass market historical romances. Usually, they're my "bath books," and I dip into a chapter or two every morning during my relaxation soak.

I'm just about ready to start a "new" series (new to me), and I'd appreciate opinions on whether it should be a.) Stephanie Laurens' Bastion Club books or b.) Jane Feather's "V" titles. I have one Feather and two Laurens on loan from a friend and will acquire the rest from the library.

I will dive first into the series that wins this little poll and save the other for later, probably spring.

Thanks to anyone who has a relevant comment and opinion.
